Union Student Ministry is for 6th-12th graders. Our goal for lost students is for them to come into a loving environment, hear the word of God, and see them enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ. For students who are already disciples, we want them to grow in their faith through learning to read God’s word and share their faith.
In our studying we put Biblical truth on a bottom shelf level where students can grasp the principles and truth found in scripture. Then we walk with students how to apply the word of God to their lives.

The Purpose of Student Ministry
Our main goal at Student Ministry is to help you guide your students into a deep abiding relationship with Jesus. To reach this goal we walk with students through scripture whether it is in our youth service or small groups to show them how the Bible is relevant and applicable to their lives.
What Parents Need to Know
Students today are challenged unlike any other time in history. The world and culture are constantly battling for their hearts and minds. As a result of this battle at Ignite we will not stay silent on worldviews the culture is throwing at them. We address issues such as: addictions, race, sex, gender, same-sex attraction, depression, modesty, purpose, sin, forgiveness, etc. We realize some of these subjects you may or may not be ready for your student to hear. So, through the GroupMe app you will be notified in advance when we are approaching a series containing sensitive subjects. In addition, we will provide tips for conversation and scripture you can share with your student about the upcoming series to help prepare them. *Please note just because we will go through a series on these important matters does not mean it is the only time these issues will come up.*
Safety
Ensuring your student is safe while here is a top priority. Once a student enters into Ignite they will have to sign in and are to remain in the facility until service is over or their parent/guardian grants them otherwise. There will always be at least 2 adults present and no student will be left alone with an adult. Every adult leader who volunteers at Ignite has had a background check.

Sunday School (youth room) 10 am
Youth Service (youth room) Wednesdays 7:00-8:00
